The Grand Marshalls will be stepping off promptly March 10th at 2:00 PM. therefore you should be at your starting point no later than 1:30 PM. Following is your Unit number and Street where you will assemble before falling in to start up Saxon Avenue to Main Street. All of the assemble streets are on the east side of South Saxon Avenue. DO NOT PARK ON THE STREET YOU ARE TO LINE UP ON, there is parking in the South Parking Lot in Montfort Seminary.
There will be groups filling in also at Awixa Avenue & Brentwood Road so if you find band on band please be advised that it will be rectified at the next fill in location. Please refer to your copy of the line or march which will be posted and handed out the day of the parade.
The parade route is South Saxon Avenue west on Montauk Hwy to Clinton Avenue. The route is 1.6 miles long and the reviewing stand is at St. Patrick’s Church. The parade will disband up Clinton Avenue to Mechanicsville and Union Boulevard. Please move your group along up Clinton and disburse along Mechanicsville so that the parade does not back up.
We have arranged to have porta potties at the following locations: South Parking lot at Montfort seminary, Awixa Avenue and at the end of the parade on the corner of Clinton and Mechanicsville Road.
