ImagePictured to the left is the concealed Insulated Supply & Return Air Ductwork in a residential high rise building. The ducts are insulated in order to maintain the desired consistent temperature throughout the length of the entire duct system. The ducts are also insulated to protect the duct from heat gain in an unconditioned space and to reduce noise from the air traveling through the duct. Due to the insulation's energy efficiency qualities, the air handlers will run easier, saving the building owner on energy & maintenance costs. - Kevin Soika
